We, ‘Discover Korea with Dr. David,’ is a service organization and information clearinghouse helping the whole world explore, understand, appreciate, and share an extensive range of (South) Korean people, places, society, culture, history, nature/environment, and industries (and helping Korean people better understand nations and citizens of the world and global cultures and ideas). Our endeavors and activities are led by Dr. David Park, a Korean-born and U.S.-educated professor of English and American studies who has studied and taught U.S. and world history and cultures, American studies (society, law, government, economy, environment), and English linguistics and literature at Seoul National University, the University of Illinois (at Urbana-Champaign), U Penn, the University of Chicago, and the University of Wisconsin. We promise the world to show you the very best balanced view of Korea to be understood in a fair, comparative, and objective manner from global perspectives. We also promise the world that our staff will offer you the most sincere and heartfelt assistance while you are preparing your visit to Korea, while you are traveling, staying, residing, or raising your family in Korea, or while you are engaged in business with Korean arts or industries or research on various aspects of Korea.
